Privacy policy

Sweet Dreams is designed as a single-owner journal. Accounts are not shared, and every dream, tag, reflection, remembered connection, Pattern, and recording is scoped to the signed-in account.

Colorful Bunch LLC operates Sweet Dreams under the Hello Ready Set Go brand and is responsible for the information practices described in this policy.

Information you provide

We process the account identifier, name, email address, and profile details supplied by Google or Apple for your Sweet Dreams account, plus the dream titles, transcripts, tags, corrections, dates, voice recordings, reflection questions and answers, generated reflection artifacts, feedback, and source-linked connections that you choose to save. Sweet Dreams does not collect or store an account password.

How the service uses it

We use account information to authenticate you and keep accounts separate. We use journal information to sync your private dream list, play your recordings, organize descriptive tags, provide Guided Reflection, and show source-linked Patterns. We do not use your journal for advertising, and the website does not include advertising trackers.

Subscriptions and purchase information

Apple processes Sweet Dreams+ purchases and payment details. Sweet Dreams does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account information. Apple and StoreKit provide limited purchase information such as the subscription product, transaction and original-transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, renewal or grace-period status, refund or revocation status, storefront, environment, and an app-account token. We use that information to unlock paid access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and respond to subscription changes.

Optional AI processing

Sweet Dreams has three separate AI choices. Enhanced transcription may send a recording and an Apple transcript candidate to Cloudflare Workers AI. Organizer and details may send chosen dream text and existing descriptive tag names to suggest an editable title, details, and tags. Guided Reflection may send the current dream, up to two reflection answers, and a bounded selection of relevant prior dreams or source-linked connections to create one personal reflection.

On first-run setup, all three choices are recommended and preselected to provide the enhanced experience. Preselection does not grant permission: Sweet Dreams does not send audio or dream text to Cloudflare Workers AI unless you affirmatively confirm your selected choices. You may deselect any choice before confirming, and you may later turn each one off independently in Settings. Declining or revoking any choice does not prevent you from saving dreams; deterministic or on-device fallbacks remain available.

Guided Reflection identifies a specific narrative relationship in an ordinary dream and may use your answers to add one conditional waking-life connection. If you skip both questions, it stays with the dream itself rather than inventing a personal meaning. A Fits response is stored as your feedback on that proposed connection, not proof that the generated wording or historical framework is true. If you choose to remember a connection, Sweet Dreams stores it with the source dream and answer so it can inform later reflections. AI output can be wrong. Sweet Dreams does not use a universal symbol dictionary and does not treat generated material as medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy, treatment, recovered memory, prediction, or fact. Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used to train or improve its models or services without explicit consent. Sweet Dreams does not grant that consent, use shared response caching for reflections, or place journal payloads in application logs.

Service providers and storage

Google and Apple authenticate their respective sign-in choices and provide the account profile fields described above. Cloudflare hosts the application, account database, private object storage, and optional AI processing. Voice recordings are stored in a private bucket and are delivered only through an authenticated account-scoped route. Reliability and security telemetry is limited to low-cardinality operation, timing, bounded usage, cache, validation, and failure fields. Journal text, answers, generated reflection prose, raw account or dream identifiers, authentication data, and private object keys are intentionally excluded from application logs.

Google Sign-In's current iOS privacy manifest also declares that its SDK may process a phone number, an approximate location inferred from an IP address, user and device identifiers, other account or device data, and authentication usage data for sign-in functionality and analytics. The SDK declares that this data may be linked to the signed-in user and is not used for tracking. Sweet Dreams requests only the basic Google identity scopes needed to sign in and does not use Google data for ads. Read Google's iOS app privacy disclosure.

Cloudflare may process connection and security metadata such as an IP address, request headers, and browser or device signals to deliver and protect the service. On the public website, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary bot-management cookie such as __cf_bm. Sweet Dreams does not use that cookie for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Adobe Fonts serves this website's typefaces through an Adobe Fonts Web Project. Adobe may receive details about the requested fonts and Web Project, the embed code, the website hostname, and the visitor IP address needed to serve the fonts. Adobe states that it does not set or use cookies to serve Adobe Fonts and does not retain visitors' IP addresses. Read the Adobe Fonts privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Your journal remains until you delete individual items or your account. Deleting a reflection removes its questions, answers, result, feedback, and reflection-scoped remembered connections without deleting the source dream. Deleting a dream removes its transcript, descriptive observations, tags, reflection records, reusable connections, Pattern sources, and other content-bearing descendants, and schedules its private recording for deletion. Deleting the account in the app removes its identity, sessions, connected-provider record, dreams, tags, reflections, answers, feedback, remembered connections, Pattern sources, consent choices, and recordings. Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked before deletion. A retry record may remain briefly until private object deletion completes. Deleting a Sweet Dreams account does not cancel a subscription managed by Apple. Limited transaction and notification records may be retained when reasonably necessary for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance; they do not retain dream text, answers, generated reflection prose, or recordings.

Your choices

• Edit or delete individual dreams and delete individual reflections in the app.
• Choose any or none of the three AI features during setup, then turn each one on or off independently in Settings.
• Mark a proposed connection Fits, Not sure, or Doesn't fit; separately decide whether a source-linked connection may be reused.
• Review or clear reusable connections in What Sweet Dreams remembers.
• Revoke microphone access in iOS Settings.
• Restore purchases or manage and cancel Sweet Dreams+ through the App Store subscription controls available from Settings.
• Delete the account in Sweet Dreams Settings.

Security and children

Sweet Dreams uses encrypted HTTPS transport, revocable signed sessions, owner-scoped database queries, and private media storage. No system is perfectly secure. Sweet Dreams is not directed to children under 13.
